Question and Answers

Q:

Re-start snow blower after it runs about 30-40 minutes when its warm.

A:

Thank you for your question. I will be happy to assist you. Depending on how warm the engine is you may not need to choke or prime the engine before restarting. If the engine is warm, just move the throttle to hi speed and pull the rope. If the engine starts just use it normally. If the engine does not start, turn the choke to the closed position. Then pull the starter rope. If the engine starts, slowly turn the choke off. If the engine does not start, push the primer once and pull the rope. This should get the engine started. Once it is started, slowly turn the choke off. I hope this is helpful. Please let me know if you need further assistance. Thank you for using Manage my life. Mark.

Q:

I have a Kenmore vacuum model 116 36623501. Is there a reset button on it somewhere?

A:

The thermal protector should reset itself when it cools down. Make sure the circuit breaker for the house has not tripped. If it still doesn't work you will need to take the vacuum in for repair.

Q:

GE electric dryer shuts down in the middle of the cycle

A:

Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

If the dryer must sit and cool down awhile after it quits running in mid-cycle, the motor is most likely overheating and shutting off from the motor thermal overload. The motor will most likely have to be replaced. You can check and see if the motor is covered in lint. If it is, clean the lint and then see if will complete a dry cycle without stopping. If it needs a motor, the motor will cost approximately $175.00 and it will require removing the front panel, blower wheel, motor pulley and motor.

I added an image below showing how to raise the top and remove the front panel. NOTE: Disconnect the power cord from the power source before servicing.

I hope this is helpful. If I may be of further assistance as more details become available, please reply to this post.
