Conversion from Propane back to Natural Gas - KGYE760WWH1 Kitchen Aid Dryer and MGR5770ADW Maytag Range

NOTE: A qualified installer should complete this conversion.

You will need the natural gas orifice that is part number 234826 for that dryer. You will also need the leak limiter cap (part 694424), the regulator screw (part 694423) and the spring (part 694422). The orifice will need to be changed. I don't have the original LP conversion kit instructions for that dryer. I believe that an LP blocking pin was inserted in that regulator in place of the spring, screw and cap mentioned above (Keys 15, 16 and 17 in the first image below). The LP blocking pin will need to be removed and those 3 natural gas components will need to be installed in that regulator. This information should help you order the correct parts so that the installer can properly convert that dryer back to natural gas.

You can order parts from the Sears website. The installer will need to unplug the appliance and shut off the gas supply before accessing internal components.

The second and third images show the procedure for converting the range. You should be able to provide that information to the installer to convert the range back to natural gas.

You can check with your local gas company for a qualified installer if you do not already have one.
