Question and Answers

after using the clean cycle the oven is not heating. Model kebc147kss06 serial xt2300678

That type of failure is normally caused by a blown thermal fuse on the back of the oven. I recommend that you call KitchenAid at 1-800-422-1230 to arrange for service. There are some ovens in your model and serial number range that may need to have the cooling fan replaced with a revised part. If you purchased the KitchenAid oven from Sears, then Sears Service may need to complete that repair. You may need to agree to pay for a service call to set up that service. If you go through KitchenAid, you may not need to pay for that repair if the revised part needs to be installed on your oven. I cannot promise that you will not have to pay for this repair but there is a chance that you may not be charged for it if the revised cooling fan needs to be installed.

If that revised fan part is not needed or you already had that cooling fan replaced, then you may just need to replace that thermal fuse on the back of the oven. Reply with additional details if you need more help with that failure.
