Question and Answers

Q:

replacing washer belt

A:

Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

Your model washer does not have drive belt. It uses a motor coupler to connect the gear case to the motor.

I added a YouTube video showing the procedure of removing and replacing the motor coupler .

I hope this is helpful. If I may be of further assistance as more details become available, please reply to this post.

A:

Bill: If the "belt" you found is about 6inches in diameter and is made of high density foam, this would wrap around the brake drum directly under the tub. It is not needed and is used to help isolate the brake noise. If the "belt" is the diameter of the tub, it is likely the seal that fits under the tub cover that is on top of the tub.
