Q:

How too ITW4300SQ2 Inglis Residential washer

A:

Thank you for your question. I am sorry you are having a problem with Inglis washer model ITW4300SQ2. I will be happy to assist you with replacing the lid switch. First, unplug the washer from the wall outlet. Then remove the two screws in the back of the console. These screws are in the end cap and secure the console. The first image below shows the location of the screws. Once the screws are removed, pull the console forward and flip it back. The lid switch is located on the left side. The second image shows how to remove it. You can order the lid switch part number 8318084 for the Inglis washer model ITW4300SQ2 from this link. I also recommend checking the lid hinge screws. If they are loose, the hinge will not activate the lid switch.  If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician.  Here is a link for the website: Sears Home Services. I hope this is helpful. Please let me know if you need further assistance.  If you cannot see the images, I suspect you are viewing this question on our partsdirect site.
