how to dehydrate at 200 degrees convection

Thank you for your question.

I can understand wanting to use the convection oven like a dehydrator.

I am sorry but the software on this model will not let you change the temperature below 300 degrees.

Thank you for using Manage My Life.

Ultrasoft 200 625.388260

Thank you for your question.

I am sorry you are having a problem with the softener. After you clean the nozzle/venturi, the unit must run a few regenerations for the water level to go down. If you have done this and followed the trouble shooting on Kenmore without any luck I recommend starting the unit in a regeneration. Then watch the drain hose where it connects to the unit. If you do not notice any leaks during the cycle I recommend replacing the seal kit. The seal kit seals against the rotor to direct the water flow during the cycle. If the seals are not sealing the unit will not run properly. Replacing the seal kit is not a difficult repair. Just remember to turn the water supply off first. Then follow the instructions listed below.

  • Turn the water supply off to the softener.
  • Unplug the softener
  • Remove the plastic covers.
  • Remove motor mount and gear
  • Remove the clip for the drain
  • Remove the screws securing the valve cover. A burst of water will come out, I recommend wrapping a towel around the valve body. This will keep the water from spraying.
  • Remove rotor and the seals from the valve cap. Make sure you remove two seals. Sometimes the small seal will stick in the cover.
  • Lube and install the new seals on the rotor and place into the valve cover.
*Then remove each seal one at a time. Lube the replacement seal and install it. That way you will not get confused on what seal goes where.
  • You have a cylinder in the valve body that has a spring on the underside. Remove the cylinder and slightly stretch the spring. This helps the sealing of the seal.
  • Once all of the seals are replaced you can reassemble the softener in the reverse order.

After you have completed the repair, push and hold the regenerate button. This will start the softener in a cycle. While the softener is running check for water leaks. If you spot any leaks, turn the water off immediately and repair the leak.

Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Why won't my electric oven heat above 200 degrees?

I do not have enough details to fully understand the time line of the failure. You indicated that the bake element was replaced in the past 2 weeks, but you did not indicate if the oven was heating up correctly after the control board was replaced a few months ago. It would also be helpful to know the part number of the control board that you had installed. It also could be helpful in seeing an image of how the new control board was wired up too. According to the model number provide the oven control board is part# 74004375R. The letter "R" on the end of the part# indicates that the board is a rebuilt/remanufactured control board because new control boards are no longer made.

Your oven does not operate the bake and broil elements independently when baking or broiling. It's critical that the broil and bake elements are working or it may take forever to heat up. The image that I added will show how long each heating element is cycled on and off while in the bake and broil cycles.

How hot will the oven get when Broil is selected instead of Bake?

There is also an oven temperature sensor probe that may be way out of specification causing the low oven temperature. In the image is a resistance chart of what the resistance of the oven temperature sensor probe should be at given temperatures. It will need to be tested with an ohm meter to verify proper resistances.

I added images with some information taken directly from the technical data sheet below showing how long and when the elements cycle on and off.

Resubmit your question with the model number, picture of the control board wiring connections and instructions, part number of the control board installed and any additional information would help.
