Q:

furrower-247.299320 model.

A:

Thank you for your question.

I can understand wanting to have a furrow mounted to the back of the tiller.

I am sorry to say that the new 2010, 2011 models are not compatible with these new rear tine tillers.

They do not have the same mounting area to attach the furrow too.

Furrow .

You will see that they exclude your and as well as some other models for this attachment.

Q:

My 8hp Briggs lets compression through the carb when trying to start it.

A:

You need to check the valves when the piston is at top dead center of the compression stroke. You can see the valves to tell if there is any pressure at this position. If the valves are not totally relaxed when the piston is at the top and the magnets on the flywheel are at the ignition module, the gear on the cam shaft might have spun on the shaft.

If you did grind the intake valve you must have removed the head. Were the valve seats ok? Did you look at the wear marks on the seats to see if they were uniform? Did you grind the seats?

Send another email with answers to these questions and we will try to help.
