Question and Answers

Q:

error number 62 for kenmore dryer

A:

Hi Glo,

Thank you for submitting a question to Manage My Life. I know how frustrating it can be when appliances do not function properly.

There is not an error 62 for this washer. This washer has a test routine that will help in diagnosing and recalling (reading error codes) any potential issues, and will reveal the entire fault code. I am including this testing information in the images below.

Please perform the diagnostic tests detailed here and report back with your findings. Be sure to record any failures and when they occur along with any error codes that are displayed. I am looking forward to assisting you again in the near future.

If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website: Sears Home Services .

Thanks again for using Manage My Life.

Q:

Why does the display stop at the 62 minutes mark but continues to operate?

A:

Your dishwasher control does not store error codes or displays error codes. The likely failure is the thermistor (key#37) or a bad thermistor circuit connection or you are not waiting long enough for it to heat the water up. You did not state how long it sits at the 62 minute mark.

There is thermal hold at the 62 minute mark. The heating element has to heat the water up before it begins to count down again. Make sure dishwasher pump is running and there is enough water in the tub so it continually sprays water or it will not heat the water properly. The water must cascade over the heating element in order to heat the water because the heating element is not submerged.

I added some information in the image below. See the numeric cycle time display and the "TH" is the thermal holds.

Q:

Thread size on a part for model# 580752710. Part# 62

A:

Thank you for you question on the size of the pipe plug on the pressure washer.

I believe you are referring to the standard brass 1/8 pipe plug.

Although the parts image refers to it as a cap the parts description calls it an 1/8 pipe plug. 1/8 X 27 NPT, (National Pipe Thread).

You should be able to get this locally.

Look at the picture below in the link to verify the part description.

Brass pipe plug for pressure washer model 580.752710 .

I hope this information will help.
