Q:

How do I replace a cracked/broken tub vane on Fridgidaire GLTF2940ES3?

A:

Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

The vanes and spin basket is designed so that the vanes can be removed from inside the basket without having to access the outside of the spin basket.

I added an image below with the instructions. When inserting the small shaft of a common screwdriver as illustrated in the instructions you actually have to bend a metal tab downwards to release the vane so it can be slid towards the door and lifted off. If you do not get the metal tab pushed down far enough you will not be able to slide the vane towards the door.

Q:

How to replace Door Lock Assembly on Frigidaire Front Loader Washer?

A:

The procedure for replacing the door lock assembly on this type of washer is shown in the image below. Unplug the washer to disconnect electrical power before accessing this internal component.

The spring clamp can be challenging to replace on the door bellows. If you start working the end of the clamp that is opposite of the spring back on first, you can work it back on evenly and expand the spring to get it back in place.
