Question and Answers

Q:

Oven glass

A:

Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

I was able to locate instructions but I can't be positive if it's exactly for your type of door. I believe it will be close enough to get the door apart. I also added an exploded view of the oven door and you can see how many parts are involved. I highly recommend making notes and taking pictures of the door as you disassemble it. You will be glad you did when go to put it back together.

If you do not feel confident taking the door apart yourself, then you can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website: Sears Home Services .

Q:

Installation information for a used Frigidaire Slide In Electric Range

A:

Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

This Frigidaire electric slide in range model GLES388DSA is vented. It also has a blower motor too to help keep the controls cool. Based on the image of the range, there is an oven vent tube that runs above the oven cavity along the upper right side and vents out below the control panel and above the upper part of the oven door. I added an image below and I circled the oven vent tube and the other image shows where the oven vents out above the door.

I added a link to the Use and Care guide just in case you did not have one.

I hope this is helpful. If I may be of further assistance as more details become available, please reply to this post.
