Question and Answers

Q:

I have a Whpl Front Load "Duet" Washer M#GHW9400PL2, S#CST0404855 where it keeps give an error code of "F-02" which means a drainage problem. I've checked

A:

Thank your for your question and I understand your concern.

Even though the washer has no problem draining, the water level pressure switch does not detect that it has drained and reset which is why it keeps stopping and displaying "F02". Try disconnecting the pressure switch hose from the pressure switch and then tap on the pressure switch with the handle end of a screwdriver and it may reset and then reconnect the pressure hose. If it resets and operates normally then there is good possibility it will happen again. I recommend replacing the water level pressure switch. See image below. NOTE: Disconnect the power cord from the power source before removing the top panel. The pressure switch can be testing using your ohm meter. See image below.

Replace the water level pressure switch and it will likely resolve the "F02" fault code. The water level pressure switch is part #8181695 and can be ordered from Sears PartsDirect
