Question and Answers

Q:

Weed Trimmer FL20 TYPE 1 Weedeater Trimmer/weedwacker

A:

Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

Based on your symptom and details, it sounds like the fuel line could be cracked and sucking air. If all the fuel lines are okay, then it will likely need to have the carburetor cleaned and rebuilt.

Based on the age, you may be better off replacing the Weedeater rather than repairing it.

I added a link to Sears.com where you can shop and compare prices of the line trimmers.

Q:

which line is the in line on fl20 carburetor

A:

Thank you for your question.

I will be happy to assist you. The small line coming from the fuel tank is the supply line. This line should be connected to the lower port on the carburetor. The larger line is the return back to the tank. That line connects to the upper port closer to the primer.
I hope this is helpful. Please let me know if you need further assistance.

Thank you for using Manage my life.
