Q:

Murata M-750 fax machine has no dial tone

A:

I don't have the manual for that Murata M-750 fax machine. You will normally hear a dial tone on the fax handset when the fax machine is connected and configured properly. The image below shows one problem that can prevent some fax machines from working properly. Check the phone line cable for that issue. If the fax machine came with a two-conductor phone cable then you may need to connect it using that type of cable or adapter.

Q:

Why is the belt slipping on my Proform XP 615 treadmill?

A:

You did not indicate whether you lubricated the belt using the part 219168. I recommend that you try this remedy before replacing the belt.

Many different factors could be causing the belt to slip. Without a physical examination of the treadmill, it is difficult to determine the exact cause of the problem that you are having.

Most treadmills only have a 90 day warranty. Replacement of the belt would not be covered since the treadmill is 2 years old.

I understand your concern regarding the performance of this treadmill that has a slipping belt after only 2 years. A treadmill will normally last several more years before you experience any problems with the belt. Certain factors such as frequency of use and the environment that it is stored (or used) in can affect the longevity of the belt. I am not aware of any common problems with the Proform treadmills. Although we can offer technical help and advice, we are not in a position to directly address your satisfaction concerns regarding this treadmill. We do want to get you in contact with someone who can address this issue. I recommend that you call the Sears National Customer Relations Office at 1-800-549-4505 to discuss the performance of this treadmill and your satisfaction with this product.
