Q:

I have a 110 449 34200 with a f4 code. what does this mean

A:

I don't see the F4 error code on the list for this model of Kenmore washer. The error codes for this model are shown in the first image below. The second image shows how to recall an error code on this type of washer. I recommend that you recheck the error code. This may help you determine the cause of your washer problem. NOTE: This information is intended for technicians. Follow electrical safety guidelines. Unplug the washer to disconnect electrical power before accessing the internal components.

If you need more help, reply with additional details and the error code that you are seeing.

Q:

kenmore washing machine error code

A:

Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

The "F13" fault code will display if dispenser assembly motor is not able to be driven to its proper position. Linkage or dispenser motor could be jammed. Sometimes manually rotating the dispenser motor came gently will get the dispenser motor working again.

The mechanical linkage connecting the dispenser motor to the dispenser will need to checked. The wires connecting the dispenser motor assembly to the Central Control Unit (CCU) will need to checked for any loose or bad connections. The dispenser motor will need to checked with an Ohm meter.

I added a couple of images below to reference. The dispenser motor should measure 1400 Ohms of resistance when measured with an Ohm meter. NOTE: Disconnect the power cord from the power source before removing the top panel. To remove the top panel, remove the screws along the back of the top panel. Slide the top back and then lift it off.

I hope this is helpful. If I may be of further assistance as more details become available, please reply to this post.

Q:

F! code what does it mean?

A:

Without a model number, I can only give you general information. I assume your washer is a top load Oasis model. The F1 fault code on this washer indicates that the water level pressure transducer signal is out of range. This can be caused by the pressure transducer air hose tubing being pinched or crimped. A failed pressure transducer on the machine control board can also cause it.

The first image below shows the method for accessing the pressure transducer tube that runs from the bottom of the washer tub to the machine control. I recommend checking this air hose for pinches, twists or crimps. NOTE: Be sure to unplug the washer to disconnect electrical power before accessing internal components.

If you find no problems with the pressure transducer tube, then the machine control board will need to be replaced. The procedure for accessing and replacing the machine control board is shown in the second image below. The part number for the machine control board is W10189966. You can order this part from the Sears PartsDirect website www.searspartsdirect.com .

Make sure to unplug the washer before attempting any repair of the washer.

If you need more help with this washer, please submit additional details.
