If you have no compression at all, that's usually indicative of something pretty severe having gone wrong. Check to make sure the piston is moving. Remove the spark plug and insert a long screwdriver (or similar item) into the hole until you can feel the piston. Then slowly turn the flywheel by hand to see if the piston pushes the screwdriver out. If it does not, then the connecting rod is broken. If the piston does move then there is likely a valve stuck open, you will need to remove the head to see if the valves are moving up/down when you spin the engine by hand.

Let me know what you find and we can proceed as necessary.

Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

Without having the model number and additional details; I will not be able to provide any information about the harness or connections. It would help to know what the differences are between the new and old oven harness.

I can give you more detailed help if you could provide me with the complete model number of your oven and describe the differences. If you could supply me with that information I will be happy to assist you further.

If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website: Sears Home Services .

Q:

how do i

A:

Thank you for your question.

I am sorry you are having a problem with the tractor. I know that it can be very frustrating to have issues with your lawn tractor. Installing the deflector can be tricky. You have to hold the deflector and spring in position then slide the hinge pin in. First, you have to remove the push nut on the end of the hinge pin. Usually you have to use a pair of diagonal cutters to cut the nut off. After you have the nut off note the position of the spring. In order to install the spring and hinge rod you will need to remove the hinge bracket from the mower deck. Removing the bracket will help remove tension from the spring so that you can position the spring on the deflector and then slide the hinge rod through the spring. I added a couple of images of how the spring should be positioned after hinge bracket from the deck. This image is not exactly from the same model but the spring position is the same.

I hope this is helpful. Please let me know if you need further assistance.
