Q:

want to attach a 42inch craftsman bagger # 917.249791 to a 54inch craftsman tracto # 917.289900 I believe the diameter of the plastic tubes are the same

A:

Thank you for your question.I will be happy to assist you. I looked up the model numbers you submitted. The bagger will not work on your tractor. The mount is different and the lower chute will not match your deck. The correct bagger for your tractor is stock number 24917. The bagger can be ordered from the following link. Craftsman bagger model number 24917.  I hope this is helpful. Please reply below if you need further assistance.      Thank you for using Manage my life.Mark T.

evangelista, I do not think the bagger will work on the mower you are looking at buying. The reason is Murray only made a few mowers for Sears. The mowers they did make had a 43 inch mowing deck. The discharge opening on these mowers have a different opening than the 42 inch decks. If the bagger model number starts with 502 it may work. If it starts with 917. It will not fit. I hope this is helpful. Thank you for using Manage my life.

Q:

Does anyone know where to find the model number on a mid '80's Craftsman 10" table saw?

A:

The model number is on a metal tag riveted to the portion of the saw that the table sets on. It is on the side, front or back of this cabinet.

Q:

Why did my 10 year old Kenmore 80 Series washer stop working mid-cycle and will not start?

A:

Without a model number and additional details, it is difficult to analyze this problem and predict the possible causes of this failure. On some Kenmore Series 80 washers, the lid switch will break the neutral connection to the motor. On other Series 80 washers, it will only stop the washer from draining and spinning. A failed lid switch could be your problem if the washer will fill. If the washer will not fill, try the timer in the spin portion of a cycle to see if the washer will drain and spin. This could indicate a problem with a water fill component of the washer. For more specific technical help with this problem, resubmit your question with the full model number of your Kenmore Series 80 washer and additional details.
