Question and Answers

Q:

Washer WLW 3700 BBLAD: How is the inner agitator removed?

A:

Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

The inner agitator press fits over a rubber agitator coupler that is pressed into the top of the inner agitator. After removing the outer agitator you will have to pull the inner agitator up and off from the coupler. You can make a fulcrum using a 2X4 as shown in the image below. Route the rope under the bottom of the inner agitator and use the technique shown in the image below.

I hope this is helpful. If I may be of further assistance as more details become available, please reply to this post.

Q:

where can I go to get installation instructions for changing baking element and triple element on Kenmore elite Smoothtop Double Oven Range

A:

Thank you for your question on the range for changing out the bake element and the triple burner.

The model number you have given is actually the stock number with the 22 as the division for ranges and 98003 is the stock number.

The complete model number is behind the storage drawer front on the model and serial tag on the chassis of the range.

It could be one of two models a 665.98003700 or 99598003701.

Before you start with replacing the elements please remove power to the range. SAFETY NOTICE: Be sure to disconnect power to the appliance before performing any repairs. If you are not comfortable with doing any voltage checks that might be recommended, please contact your local service provider for repairs. Be aware that there could be sharp edges inside the appliance that could cause cuts or other injuries to yourself or others.

I have given you instructions on changing out both elements below.

I hope this will help with changing out the elements on your range.

Please let me know how is went.

Sam A.
