Q:

My Craftsman 6V N iMH Combo Clipper runs slow. Does Craftsman recommend replacing the internal battery? If yes, is it something I can do at home?

A:

I can't find any information on the model number you sent. If the clipper is cordless and not rechargeable, the battery(s) probably need to be replaced.

If the batteries are meant to be replaced by the customer, there is usually a panel that slides off to allow access to the batteries.

Look closely at the clipper and see if there is a screw to be removed or a panel with marks on it showing the direction to slide it to remove.
