Q:

Help with Asko T700 dryer

A:

Your details seem to indicate that the house fuse is blowing or that the overheating protection switch on the motor is tripping. Here is a link for the owner's manual on that dryer: Asko T700 Dryer Owner's Manual . I recommend that you perform the general troubleshooting that is described in that manual if the overheat protection switch is tripping. You could have a problem with excessive friction in the drive system or a bad drive motor that is causing this problem. A build-up of lint in the cabinet could also cause the motor to overheat. This would not cause the motor to stop immediately but it could cause the motor to stop within minutes after starting as you are describing in some situations.

If you are blowing the house fuse for the dryer electrical outlet then you could have a bad drive motor or an electrical short in the dryer. You can check the wiring and/or the motor in that situation.

To order parts or receive more help with this failure, I recommend that you call Asko at 1-800-898-1879.

If you need more assistance from us, reply to this thread and we will try to help you further.

Q:

Cracked camera body

A:

Thank you for your question.

I can understand your concern for the camera's performance after the accident.

Depending on how hard the impact was as to whether there is any internal concealed damage.

It looks like you can get most of all the parts for the case and body on the parts list.

I would suggest that if you want to order the cracked part you should, but you may want to take it to a camera repair center to replace the part and they can examine for any other damage.

If you take any pictures with it and if the crack will leak light into the film chamber then it is a problem. If it is on an isolated part on the outside that is easily repaired I would replace that for no other reason than for how it looks.

I hope this will help.

Thank you for using Manage My Life.
