Question and Answers

Q:

mini-tiller m/n 316.292621 replacing pull chord

A:

Thank you for your question on the replacement of the starter rope on the mini tiller.

Most of the starter clutches that I am familiar with use a number T25 Torx head screw that holds the clutch drum on.

You will need to remove the spark plug and use some old starter rope and put it into the spark plug with a tail sticking out and it will bump against the top of the piston and head to keep the engine from spinning over while you remove the clutch retainer screw.

I hope this information will help you.

Q:

Cracked camera body

A:

Thank you for your question.

I can understand your concern for the camera's performance after the accident.

Depending on how hard the impact was as to whether there is any internal concealed damage.

It looks like you can get most of all the parts for the case and body on the parts list.

I would suggest that if you want to order the cracked part you should, but you may want to take it to a camera repair center to replace the part and they can examine for any other damage.

If you take any pictures with it and if the crack will leak light into the film chamber then it is a problem. If it is on an isolated part on the outside that is easily repaired I would replace that for no other reason than for how it looks.

I hope this will help.
