Dryer does not turn off in sensor cycle


The advancement of that time in the sensor dry cycles is controlled by a circuit board inside the console. That circuit board is circled in red on the wiring diagram in the image below. I recommend that you unplug the dryer and check the wiring connections on that circuit board. If the wiring connections are okay, then you will probably need to replace that circuit board. You may see a burnt spot on the control board that indicates that it is apparently damaged. The part number for that circuit board is WE04X10102. You can order that part from this page: Control Board with Buzzer Part WE04X10102 for GE Dryer Model DRSR495EG6WW.


Be sure that you unplug the dryer before accessing internal components and replacing parts.
