Q:

Do you have to use the power cord for the Lifestyler St 510 stepper?

A:

Here is the manual for that stepper: LifeStyler ST 510 Stepper Manual . That manual does not describe a power cord. If your model does have a power cord, then it could be for rechargeable batteries in the console. As long as you keep fresh batteries in that console, you should not need a power cord. The batteries should normally last a long time even if they are not rechargeable. If you need more help, let us know.

A:

Hello Jason. I reviewed that manual again and I see the information on the power cord on page 6. That is a 12 volt DC transformer (unregulated). It powers the resistance motor. The console is powered by the AA batteries. You may be able to find a 12 volt DC transformer that will work with that unit to adjust the resistance. I posted a link below for a DC transformer that should be compatible. If you need more help, let us know.

Q:

How do I get a receipt on a pressure washer purchased a few years back?

A:

You will have to go to a Sears retail store personally. Take some form of identification and if possible the owners manual for the pressure washer.

You might need to speak to the department manager for division 09. Sears is very careful about giving customers information out. The people at the retail store should be able to pull up the information on the pressure washer and print you out a copy.

Q:

Why does my Craftsman 2 cycle snow blower over rev after 5-10 minutes use? How do I fix it?

A:

The governor is probably sticking, causing the engine to over rev.

The governor on your engine is an aluminum butterfly mounted near the carburetor. The air from the flywheel blows the governor causing it to open or close the throttle on the carburetor.

The governor and throttle linkage probably needs to be sprayed with some carburetor cleaner to clean and lubricate it.

Be careful to not change the adjustment of the governor. If it is set too high, it will cause external damage to the engine.

I recommend spraying the springs and linkage with carburetor cleaner. Start the engine and if it still over revs, get a technician to repair the engine.
