Q:

Installing Kenmore vacfilter EF-1

A:

Thank you for your question.

I will be happy to assist you. The arrow on the filter should be facing out. The air enters through the hose into the bag. Then out of the bag into the filter. From the filter back into the room.

I hope this is helpful. If you need further assistance, please reply below with more details and a model number of the vacuum.

Thank you for using Manage my life.

Q:

Need to install new part for DCS mo24ss

A:

This type of component should only be accessed and replaced by a service technician. The microwave contains high voltage components that retain a lethal electrical charge even when the unit is completely unplugged. The microwave must be properly tested for shielding leakage after any internal component access and service. These are the reasons why we recommend that you take the microwave to a repair center to have that part installed. Here is a link for the Sears Service website that has drop-off locations: Sears Home Services .

Q:

dcs gas stove range/oven that goes on and of

A:

Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

As Barbara H. suggested; adding the model number of your range would be most helpful. Without having the model number I would not know what type of ignition system it has. If it has a glow bar igniter that glow red, then the problem is likely that the igniter is too weak to cause the gas valve to open or stay open. The igniter has to pull enough current/amperage to cause the gas valve to open and stay open.

This might help resolve your issue. If you can get me the complete model number I can help you troubleshoot in more detail.

Ron: I was not able to find anything on the model number you added. The model does not appear to be a valid model number. What brand name is it? If your range uses a glow bar igniter then it sounds like a weak glow bar igniter. Reply with the model if you feel that you may have provided an incorrect model number. You may need to call and set service in order to have your range/oven repaired.

Ron: Your Fisher Paykel DSC range model RG304 most likely has a weak bake igniter. If the igniter does not pull/draw enough amperage the oven safety valve will not open or it may open and close. Replace the glow bar bake igniter and your oven will likely operate normally again. Here is the URL address where you can order the igniter. http://www.dcsappliances.com/ or you can most likely order one from [Sears PartsDirect | http://www.searspartsdirect.com?sid=MMLxexpertxmerch]

Ron: I'm sorry but I could not find any installation instructions to provide. I recommend contacting Fisher and Paykel and see if they can provide instructions. I'm sure you will need to either remove the floor of the oven or the lower front panel if it has one.
