Question and Answers

Q:

What does F 28 mean on my He2 plus washer?

A:

The "F28" fault code indicates the communication between the Central Control Unit (CCU) and the Motor Control Unit (MCU) cannot be sent correctly.

Possible causes:

  • Loose wiring connection between the CCU and the MCU.
  • Loose wiring connection between MCU and motor.
  • Intermittent failure within the CCU.
  • Intermittent failure with the MCU.
  • Loose or no grounding connection.
  • Failed MCU or CCU
The top panel is removable in order to access the CCU and the rear panel is removable in order to access the MCU. NOTE: Disconnect the power cord from the power source before removing the top and rear panel. Check for any loose connections at the MCU and CCU. If no loose connections are found and your washer continues to display F28 then I recommend calling a service technician to diagnose and repair your washer.

If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website: Sears Home Services .

Q:

setup my bose life style 28 system

A:

Here is the link to the Bose Lifestyle 28 product page. If you click on the "Details/manuals" tab you can scroll down to the installation guide. Page 19 has the information you need regarding connecting your TV. Most connection problems are usually due to the TV setting. I know most Samsungs won't let you use digital out unless you are watching ATSC, make sure you read the TV manual thoroughly.
