Oven light Cover Removal

Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

A suction cup wouldn't grip the lens cover tight enough to remove the lens cover. It's not uncommon for these types of lens covers to stick and not come loose easily. You could try using one of those round rubber disc used to help grip and remove lids off jars or you may try using a strap wrench as shown at Sears.com

Tapping gently on the lens cover with the butt end of a screw driver while attempting to remove the light cover in a counter clockwise (CCW) direction will sometimes free it up and then you can remove the lens.
