Question and Answers

How can I prevent the vacuum cleaner belt from riding up off the shaft?

I don't have the exact owner's manual available for this model of Eureka vacuum cleaner available online. The image below shows the procedure for changing the belt on a similar model that uses the same type of belt (52100A). Make sure that you do have the correct belt. The part number of the correct belt is 52100A. Carefully follow the procedure provided in your owner's manual for replacing the belt. If you do not have the owner's manual then you may be able to use the procedure provided below as a guide. Make sure that the brush roller is inserted properly into the end caps. If the belt keeps slipping off of the motor shaft then the vacuum cleaner will likely need service by a technician.
