Question and Answers

Q:

I have a dyson Model # DC23 How do I seperate the main chassis from the upper chassis ?

A:

Thank you for your question on the dismantling of the Dyson canister body.

If this unit is under 5 years old it is still under warranty. If it is you may want to contact Dyson to get it repaired.

You will need a #15 torx screwdriver tip to remove the screws from the body to separate it from the motor housing.

There are also some small Phillips screws that secure some of the ducts from the body.

Remove the dust container to gain access to the body screws.

Remove the right side filter cover and right wheel assembly and you will see some screws to remove.

Dyson contact information.

Please let me know how it goes.

Q:

kenmore 11020712999 still having touble getting the cabinet on the chassis

A:

Thank you for your question.

I am sorry you are having a problem with getting the cabinet back on the washer.

  • If this is a 110. Model Kenmore standard top loader you do not have to take the back panel off to service the washer.

• The back panel on the washer goes on the outside of the lower base chassis.

  • I will send a sequence of the cabinet removal and reassembly. It doesn't show every step but it should help you with the reassembly of your washer.

• I hope this will answer your question.

Q:

How can I take the chassis off of my washer to replace a part?

A:

Thank you for your question.

I assume you are looking for the instructions for replacing the lid switch on your top load washer. a defective lid switch would cause a top load washer not to drain and/or spin. I have provided you with the instructions for removing the cabinet on most of our washers below. If you model is different please reply with a model number so I can get you the correct instruction. Please remember to unplug the washer before attempting any repair. You do not want the washer to accidently start.

If you run into any other problems, please feel free to reply below.
