GE Monogram Ice Maker - ice won't fall out of grid ZDIS150WSSD

Thank you for your inquiry on your Ge Ice Maker, Model: ZDIS150WSSD. From reviewing the details on your model, the grid cutter uses low voltage to generate a small amount of heat that will "cut" thru the ice, thus creating ice cubes. The Grid Cutter is always on when the unit is on. And those Grid Cutter wires love to snap. Once snapped, they cannot complete their circuit and therefore there is no more heat on the wire.

Safety Warning: Before beginning the repair, disconnect the direct power supply to the ice maker to prevent the risk of injury or any electrical shock.

If you don’t feel comfortable or confident in this repair, then you can have it repaired at home by a sears technician. I have the included a link to the website: Sears Home Services or call 1-800-469-4663.
