Q:

The ProForm XP 650e

A:

That link for a previous answer that Julio posted in the above response provides the image that I also posted below this response. The console should calibrate the incline in Level 2 of that calibration process as shown in the image below. If the console will not properly calibrate the incline, then you can unplug the treadmill and check the wiring on the incline motor. You can also check the wiring on the incline sensor. The wiring diagram shown in the image below will help you check those components. If the wiring is okay, then you could have a problem with the motor, the sensor or the console. A mechanical problem could also be causing this failure.

To diagnose the treadmill you may need to perform live voltage checks. Working with live electrical current can be very hazardous and possibly deadly. Testing voltage output requires working with electrical current. Do not attempt this measurement without the proper tools and safeguards. Wear electrical safety gloves and safety goggles when checking live voltage. Unplug the treadmill as soon as live testing is completed .

The information below provided some voltage checks that you can perform on the console. You may be able to determine the cause of your problem using this information. If you need parts, you can order them from this page: Proform XP 650e Treadmill Model 831.296060 Parts . Be sure that you unplug the treadmill before accessing internal components and replacing parts.

If you get to the point where you need to have a service technician diagnose and repair this failure, you can schedule service through this link: Sears Home Services .

Q:

Please help. What can I do with a delivered elliptical without an instruction manual and no electrical cord?

A:

The elliptical does not have a power cord. It is powered by 4 d-cell batteries. You need to get the owners manual and it will explain everything to you. To get an owners manual go to [www.managemylife.com]. Go to the find manuals section on the home page and enter your information as shown below.
