Kenmore microwave, model #XC L 11 15105, code F6, what does this mean?

I see that Barbara H has given you a good link to a previous asked question on a F6 error code. The control has a stuck relay on the control board. I was going to give you a rough estimate of what it was going to cost to repair the microwave but the model number you submitted did not pull up for me.

The average life of an appliance is around 8 to 10 years. If you microwave is approaching that age you might want to consider replacing the microwave.

If you need further assistance, please submit a model number and more details.

Thank you for using Manage my life.

kenmore microwave not working.

Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

The "F6" fault code indicates a relay failure.

I am sorry, but we do not give repair information on microwave ovens because they are inherently dangerous to service. Microwaves contain high voltage internal components that can retain a lethal electrical charge even when the microwave is completely unplugged. Door repairs and adjustments, even minor ones, can cause microwave leakage, and a microwave shielding leakage test must be performed using a survey meter after any microwave service. That's why I strongly warn you to have this repair handled only by a qualified service technician. You can schedule service online with Sears Home Services or by calling 1-800-4-MY-HOME.

Normally at we like to help you with all of your repairs, but our expert advice is that microwaves are just too dangerous.

Frididaire washing machine does not complete cycles.

I posted some images below that pertain specifically to your Frigidaire Washer Model ATF7000FE0.

The second and third images show how to access and replace the control board that is likely causing your problem. Be sure that you unplug the washer before accessing internal components and replacing parts.

Before you order and replace that control board, I recommend that you check the fault codes as shown in the first image. You may have a different problem that is causing your failure. You can recall the saved error code as shown in the top of the first image. You can use the diagnostic test shown in that first image to check the components in the washer. If you find no other problems in the washer, then replacing that control board in the console should fix your failure.

You can order parts from this page: Frigidaire Affinity Washer Model ATF7000FE0 Repair Parts. As noted above, unplug the washer before accessing internal components.

I hope that this information helps you fix that washer problem. If you need more assistance, reply with additional details.

If you get to the point where you need to have a service technician examine and repair the washer, you can schedule service through this link: Sears Home Services Washer Repair.
