Question and Answers

Q:

Dishwasher Error "uo"

A:

Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

The "uo" indicates the vent is not closing. I added an image below showing how to access the vent. NOTE; Disconnect the power supply from the dishwasher before servicing. I added several images below to reference.

If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. You can schedule service with Sears Home Services by calling 1-800-4-MY-HOME.

Q:

ER UO messages FDB4315LFC3 Frigidaire Dishwasher

A:

Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

The "ER/uo" indicates the vent door will not close. The vent should close during wash to help reduce the noise level and it should open during the dry cycle.

I added an image below that should help in accessing the vent and blower assembly. The vent could be stuck open. NOTE: Disconnect the power supply to the dishwasher before servicing.

Q:

bobbin thread laying flat wont catch pull uo thread

A:

Thank you for you question on the sewing machine not picking up the bobbin thread.

It is possible that the machine is out of time.

The shuttle hook to needle timing may be off if it is not picking up the bobbin thread.

If you feel comfortable with removing the needle plate we can check to see if the machine is in time.

Set the machine to stitch number 10 and turn the hand wheel until the needle is at the very bottom of its travel and then bring it up just about 3/16 of an inch off the bottom and the very point of the shuttle hook should directly behind the center of the needle just above the eye of the needle.

If it is not at that location it will not pick the bobbin thread.

I could go through the timing procedure with you if you feel comfortable with using some basic tools.

If not then I would suggest you take the machine in for service.

Please verify the model number. I did not find a 385.1961180, I did find a 385.12960180. There should be the same style machine if the number you gave is the correct model number.

Please let me know what you find and what you would like to do.

Sam A.
