Q:

Any one with the same problem with samsung washing machine WF448AAP/XAA 04

A:

I researched that part. The bottom portion of that dispenser housing is only available as a complete dispenser housing assembly (part DC97-14522A). Here is a direct link for that part: Dispenser Housing for Samsung Washer WF448AAP/XAA 04 .

Q:

I have a maytag washer #LA712, and I'm trying to take off the agitator, but I don't know the size of the locking screw. I have a allen cluster but none of them

A:

Hi Gerald,

Thank you for submitting a question to Manage My Life.

According to the service manual I have, that set screw should be 1/4 inch hex.

If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website: Sears Home Services .

I hope this is helpful. If I may be of further assistance please reply to this post.

Q:

MY MICROWAVE MODEL 401.80089 DISPLAYS -SE- AND THE KEY PAD WILL NOT WORK. A TECH TOLD ME THE PARTS I NEED ARE DE94-01647A AND SM7MGZ.04. IS THAT CORRECT?

A:

Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

The touch panel/membrane switch is part #DE34-00350A. The touch panel/membrane switch for model 401.80089700 can be ordered from Sears Parts Direct.

I am sorry, but we do not give repair information on microwave ovens because they are inherently dangerous to service. Microwaves contain high voltage internal components that can retain a lethal electrical charge even when the microwave is completely unplugged. Door repairs and adjustments, even minor ones, can cause microwave leakage, and a microwave shielding leakage test must be performed using a survey meter after any microwave service. That's why I strongly warn you to have this repair handled only by a qualified service technician. You can schedule service online with Sears Home Services or by calling 1-800-4-MY-HOME.

Normally at ManageMyLife.com we like to help you with all of your repairs, but our expert advice is that microwaves are just too dangerous.
