Question and Answers

Q:

Where can I find a parts manual for model #213 320 A C 153 B?

A:

I cannot find information on the model number that you submitted. I recommend that you resubmit your question with additional information. Include a complete description and see if you can find additional model number information. With additional details and a full and valid model number, we should be able to find a parts list diagram. You can also visit the Sears PartsDirect website to see if you can access the parts list diagram. You will need a valid model number to access the parts list diagram for your model. If you cannot find a model number but you can find a part number on one of the parts, we can usually cross reference a part number back to the models that use it.

We will be glad to help you once we receive additional information.

Q:

How do I remove bad Circuit breaker?

A:

Thank you for your question on the cook top that needed repair and now the circuit breaker will not give power to the cook-top.

If as you describe it the 30 amp breaker has failed that gives power to the cook-top, you will either have to have an electrician to change out the breaker in the box or change it yourself if you feel comfortable doing it.

Have you rest the breaker a number of times?

Have you checked the output voltage for this double breaker for the 240 volt cook-top?

You will need a volt/ohm meter to safely check the voltage.

I would suggest looking at the breaker's brand name and style and going to a hardware store or home center that sells that brand of circuit breaker a purchase a 30 amp 240 volt circuit breaker replacement.

Then you can decide if you want to change it yourself of have a handyman or a licensed electrician replace it for you. If you have never done this before I would recommend that you have an electrician do it for you. An electrical panel can be very dangerous if you don't know what to do.

Please let me know what you would like to do.

Q:

I am installing a B&S Intek I/C engine and need to know how to connect the throttle linkage to the engine. Model# 12S432, type# 0036, code# F8.

A:

Thank you for your question on the change out of the engine.

I understand that you want to be able to control the speed of the engine from behind the handle bars.

However this is a standard replacement engine and has all the controls on the engine it self and I do not see any type of cable clamp holder on the side of the engine for installing a remote throttle cable.

I would suggest looking closely at the housing next to the throttle to see if there is a hole for a clamp to be screwed into for holding the throttle cable.

Also is there a hole in the throttle arm that would accept the hook on the end of the throttle cable.

It should have a choke lever and a gas valve cut off and a friction throttle control on the engine itself.

Please let me know what you see at that locations since I cannot get a picture that close to see if it has those holes

A:

Thank you for the update. You may be able to use the same clamp and screw off the old engine if you still have it. Also you will have to loosen the friction damper for the throttle behind the panel, so your remote throttle cable will be able to move the throttle control. You may have to remove the cover to see the friction damper. Sam A.
