From your description I could not tell whether or not you ran the diagnostics. The first thing I recommend is checking for fault/error codes. The error codes are extremely important in the diagnosis of this type of washer. This washer has a way to recall error codes, and it will save up to 4 of the most recent fault codes. If the control detects a problem it will identify it with an error code. I am including this information in a set of images below.
If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website; Sears Home Services .

Since your washer is older than 1 year, the full warranty is expired but there is still a limited warranty on the exception parts described below. You would have to pay for the labor of diagnosis and replacement of those parts but you would not be charged for the covered parts. Refer to the details of the warranty for specific provisions and restrictions.
