Q:

How long can the vent pipe be for a model 110.66112500 the vent pipe is metal, has 2 90 degree turns, and 2 45 degree turns. Installation manual will not load

A:

The installation information for the exhaust vent duct piping is shown in the image below. The chart shows that with 2 of the 90 degree elbows using metal vent ducting, you may be able to use up to about 40 ft. of pipe if necessary. I emailed the full installation guide to you.

Q:

I have a used Craftsman model 919.167342 & a new Earthquake 1/2" Impact Wrench. The wrench doesn't seem to turn even when the compressor powers to 90 PSI. Any ideas?

A:

You should let the compressor run until it cycles off. Air compressors usually have a cut out pressure of 125-150 PSI. The right hand gauge shows you the tank pressure.

The instructions for the impact wrench should have a recommended operating pressure. Set the regulator on the air compressor so the left gauge registers the operating pressure for the impact wrench.

If the impact wrench doesn't work when you have the compressor set to the recommended pressure, the impact wrench is defective.

I don't think your compressor will run this tool very long at a time. The scfm of 4.7 requires a large volume of air from the compressor. There will be plenty of volume when the tank is full, but the compressor might not put out 4.7 scfm. You should be able to run the impact wrench in short increments. You don't usually run an impact wrench for long periods.

Q:

My Kenmore 90 series washer agitator rocks back and forth around 1 to 2 inches.

A:

Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

I must assume just the upper augur portion of the agitator is loose. It is not abnormal for the augur to rock back and forth a little bit but not 2 inches. You will need to remove the augur and check for any broken parts.

I added an image of the agitator assembly below. To remove the auger:

  • Remove the fabric dispenser
  • Remove the spring retainer (key#20) using the square end of a 1/2 inch ratchet extension. Turn the spring retainer counter clockwise (CCW) until it can be removed.
  • Grasp the augur and lift it up and off.
  • Lay your hand over the top of the augur and flip it upside down.

Replace any parts that appear damaged or broken and reverse the procedure. Use the image below in order to see the order of the parts. You will likely need to order part #8537433 which can be ordered from Sears PartsDirect
