Thank you for your reply Joseph and trying to help me. After reading my post, I don't think I made it clear that the problem isn't with the computer, I never get that far. Once the adapter is put into my camera, that's when I get the Memory Card Error message. I've done it many times in the past - same camera - same adapter card - without a problem.

Linda � sorry for the trouble you're having, it sounds frustrating. Am I correct that you are getting the "Memory Card Error" from the camera?

Getting another adapter was a good idea, since it let you eliminate that from the problem. The other two possibilities are that there is a problem with the card itself, or the camera. As you said, it seems unlikely that there's a problem with the camera because the regular SD card works fine.

If that is the case, I would find a USB micro SD card adapter for the computer which you could connect directly to the computer and see if you are still getting the error.

If there is a camera shop nearby, I would bring it to them and see if someone there is able to help you. Sometimes having the equipment in-hand is helpful when diagnosing problems.
