Question and Answers

Q:

microwave sensor reheat functions

A:

Hello Joey.  I could not find information on a Kenmore 63310 Microwave. That model number may be missing some numbers.

Regardless of the model, your description points to an internal control failure in the microwave. Unplug the microwave for 3 minutes to reset the control. Plug the microwave back in and see if it works properly.

If the microwave does not work properly after resetting the control, then a service technician will need to diagnose and repair the failure that you are describing since it involves internal components. Microwaves contain high-voltage components that can retain a lethal electrical charge of up to 2200 volts -- even when the microwave is unplugged. Repairs and adjustments, even minor ones such as replacing fuses, can cause microwave leakage. A microwave shielding leakage test should be performed after any microwave service.

It is for these safety reasons that we are unable to guide you in microwave repairs and instead recommend scheduling service with a qualified service technician if the microwave is built-in.

You can schedule service online with Sears Home Services Microwave Repair or by calling 1-800-4-MY-HOME.

If the microwave is a countertop model, you can visit this website for information on the nearest drop-off locations in your area: Sears Home Services.

We thank you for your understanding in this matter and hope we can help you with other questions and repairs in the future.

Q:

Can I get the dimensions of a Kenmore refrigerator model 25354673303?

A:

I don't have access to the exact specifications, but the following dimensions are for a similar model that is the same size:

  • Height - 69 3/8"
  • Width - 35 5/8"
  • Depth - 33 3/4"
This model also requires a 2 3/8" door edge clearance.

Exact measurements of your model may vary slightly, but I don't anticipate that any specification provided above will be more than 1" off.

Q:

I cannot set the time on my gas range. When I press start it turns off and goes blank.

A:

Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

To set the clock; press set clock once and "CLO" should appear. Press the up or down arrow to set the correct time of day. Press Start to accept the time of day. If this is the steps you are making and the clock goes blank when Start is pushed, then you will need to call Sears and set up a service appointment. The clock/electronic oven control will most likely have to be replaced.

You can schedule service online with Sears Home Services or by calling 1-800-4-MY-HOME.

I hope this is helpful. If I may be of further assistance as more details become available, please reply to this post.
