Question and Answers

Do you know if the Whirlpool oven model # RS675PXGQ4 has a reset button?

There is an OVEN SHUTDOWN THERMAL FUSE located at the back of the range which is designed to shut power off to bake and broil element if it senses an over temperature to prevent a thermal event. The thermal fuse is not resettable and will need to be replaced. I added some information in the image below. NOTE: Disconnect the range from the power source before servicing the range.

The part number of the thermal shutdown fuse is 4451442.

I recommend calling a service technician to diagnose what caused the oven to over heat.
