Question and Answers

Q:

What does the error message "OP" mean?

A:

The letters "OP" indicate an open lid or the control board does not detect the lid closed. You can check to see if the lid switch is working using an ohm meter. NOTE: Disconnect the power cord from the power source. Remove the console and disconnect connector P3. Using the ohm meter to check continuity place one meter lead on the Purple wire and one meter lead on the Orange wire. With the lid closed it should show continuity. If it does not show any continuity, check for continuity at the left hand lid/lock switch. If it does not show continuity at the lid switch with the lid shut, replace the left hand lid/lock switch. Q:

coin op washer question

A:

Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

The soap dispenser assembly consists of the dispenser drawer which is removable for cleaning and the dispenser body. To remove the dispenser drawer I added the instructions in the image below.

The dispenser body can not be taken apart and cleaned so it would do no good to remove it from the washer. Once the dispenser drawer has been removed then you get reach in and clean any residue with a brush. Look up inside at the top of dispenser opening and you should be able to reach in and clean the holes in the top with a tooth brush.
