Question and Answers
Washer Agitates Prior to Water fill.
Thank you for your question.
I am sorry you are having a problem with your washer. Usually when this happens, it is because of the load sense switch. The relay in the switch sticks and allows the washer to fill and agitate at the same time. A simple check is to access the load sense switch and unplugging the wires to it. Then check the operation. I have provided you with the instructions for accessing the load sense switch below. Make sure you unplug the washer first. Once the console is open the load sense switch it the switch that has the clear plastic hose connected to it. Remove the connector that has the violet, white and the blue with orange stripe from the switch. Then carefully plug the washer back in and start a wash cycle. If the washer does not do anything, you have to replace the load sense switch. If the washer still agitates, the problem is most likely a failed timer.
