Question and Answers

Why won't my Dishwasher spray?

If I understand correctly, your dishwasher will fill with water and it will drain water, but will not spray/pump any water through either spray arms. If this assumption is correct then it likely has a faulty wash motor or control board. Note: I must also inform you that only one spray arm will spray at a time. The spray arm operation will alternate so it will never spray out of both spray arms at the same time.

If the dishwasher is not filling with water then it could have something stuck under the safety float preventing it from moving down and closing the switch. If the float is not stuck and the dishwasher is not filling with water then it could have a restricted water inlet valve, faulty inlet valve or a control board failure.
