Question and Answers

Q:

kenmore 110.42822 203. saw this morning that it was full of water.

A:

Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

The water inlet valve on the washer is likely faulty. The water inlet is not shutting completely off and is allowing water to slowly enter the washer. Replace the water inlet valve and it should resolve the problem.

If you feel confident in replacing the water inlet valve yourself, I added an image below with the procedure. The water inlet valve is part #8181694 which can be ordered from Sears PartsDirect . NOTE: Disconnect the washer from the power supply before removing the top.

If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website: Sears Home Services .

Q:

washer repair model 110 42822 203

A:

Hi Bob,

Thank you for submitting a question to Manage My Life.

According to the Owners manual for the model number you gave me, this washer has a Limited 10 year warranty on the plastic tub (the part that contains the bearings) and a lifetime warranty on the steel drum. If your washer is not more than 10 years old, these parts are most likely covered. You will be responsible for labor and any other parts needed. The labor charges vary by area, here is a link that you may use to check on the charges in your area; Sears Home Services .

Here is a link that you may use to view the parts list diagram or purchase any parts needed for your appliance; Sears Parts Direct .

I hope this is helpful. Check the things I have covered here and if I may be of further assistance please reply to this post with details of what you find.

Q:

Crank Puller for a Schwinn 203 Recumbent Bike

A:

Thank you for your question. I will be happy to assist you. If you see threads on the inside of the hole in the crank arm, you can use a crank arm puller to remove them. Most of the crank arms are the same size. I found the tool I used to use. Click here to see and order the tool.  You might also be able to barrow the remover from a local bike shop. I hope this is helpful. Please let me know if you need further assistance.  Thank you for using Manage my life.   Mark
