Question and Answers

What is the part number for the membrane switch on my Maytag dishwasher model PDBL390AWW?

I recommend disconnecting electrical power and checking the continuity through the door switches before replacing the membrane keypad. The control will power up even when the door switches are open. The cycles will not start if one of the door switches is open.

If the door switches are okay, then you will need to replace the membrane key pad if the start key is not working. The image below shows the pin-out check for the start key. I recommend checking it before replacing the control. If you need to replace the membrane keypad, you can order it from the Sears PartsDirect website. The part number is 99003366.

If the start key and the door switches are both okay, then you could have a wiring failure or a failed control board that is causing this problem.
