Q:

Mounting a 842242560 snowblower to craftsman yard tractor.

A:

Thank you for your question.

I will be happy to assist you. I tried to look up the model number you submitted. I could not get that model number to come up. I think it may be one number off. I should be able to assist you without the model number. If the model number does start with 842 it will not fit the tractor. The reason is the tractor frames were changed in 2006. Anything snow blower before then will not fit. The manufacturer of the snow blower went out of business some time ago and most of the parts are no longer available. I checked the part numbers and most are no longer available.

I hope this is helpful. Please let me know if you need further assistance.

Thank you for using Manage my life.

Q:

What does the fault code F7 EA indicate on my GE electric slide-in range?

A:

The F7 EA error code indicates that the electronic control board detects a stuck button on the key pad. This is normally caused by a failed control console. It can sometimes be caused by a bad electronic oven control board. A technician will shut off the breaker to disconnect electrical power to the oven and conduct an ohm test as described in the image below. If any of the keys on the control panel are not operating properly, then the control panel will need to be replaced.

You can order parts for this oven through the Sears PartsDirect website. The part number for the control panel is WB36T10609 according to the model number that you submitted (JKS06BF4BB).

If you are not able to perform the ohm test on the control panel, you can likely fix this problem by replacing the control panel. If you still have the error code after replacing the control panel, then you would need to replace the control board (part WB27T10413).

Q:

i have a ge xl44 spectra stove/oven when when i turn on burners it only sends spark to one ea burner start spark on one

A:

Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

Whenever any one burner knob is turned to the "Lite" position all 4 electrodes should spark. It would be odd that only one of the 4 electrodes is arcing/sparking unless three of the 4 wire leads connecting the electrodes have come disconnected or the other three burner heads have lost ground. It's not likely a spark module failure.

I added an image below with instructions on raising the top in order to check the electrode wiring connections to the electrodes.

NOTE: Disconnect the range from the power supply before raising the top.

If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website: Sears Home Services .
