Question and Answers

Q:

Where is the fuse

A:

Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

There are two high temperature cut out thermostats located on the back of the oven. The upper high temperature cut out thermostat is located on the back of the oven on the lower right side of the upper oven. It's not likely a faulty thermostat but it could be.

When the upper bake element burned out and shorted it could have took out the oven thermostat, selector switch or possibly a relay. Thermador wall ovens have a lot of wires and I strongly suggest calling a service technician to diagnose and repair your wall oven. The oven will need to be pulled out in order to check the high temperature cut out thermostats and the oven is extremely heavy. NOTE: Disconnect the power supply from the oven before sliding it out and servicing.

If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website: Sears Home Services .
