Thank you for submitting your question and I will be happy to assist you. First, make sure the float (key #28) in the bottom front corner of the dishwasher isn't stuck in the "up" position. If it is the dishwasher will not fill. In order to diagnose the failure, will require removing the kick plate/toe panel and testing the water inlet valve for resistance. The water inlet valve (key #2) should have a resistance measurement of 890-1090 ohms when measuring across the terminals of the valve with the wires disconnected. If it tests okay, then you will need to check the voltage supply to the water inlet valve when the dishwasher has been started and calling for fill. If there is no voltage present at the water inlet valve then check the voltage supply at the overflow protection switch and check the switch to see if it's opening and closing. You can disconnect the float switch and check for continuity with the ohm meter. Note : Always unplug or de-energize electrical equipment before removing covers or attempting service. Be careful and wear appropriate hand protection when working around sharp metal parts. If you do not feel comfortable performing test or repairing this problem yourself, I recommend scheduling for service. You can schedule for service online with out Sears Home Services team. Please let me know if you require more assistance. I hope this helps. Thank you for choosing Manage My Life.
