Question and Answers

I have a Frigidaire Elements stove. The right side front element doesn't stay on. What could be the problem

I can understand your problem. The question is why does it always seem to be the large element. I keep having the same issue but not with a Frigidaire. While you wait for the expert to review your model and respond if you decide you would prefer to have a technician visit to diagnose and make repairs an option is the Sears Home Services scheduler in the link below.

Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

This type of symptom could be related to moisture migrating into the burner switch area or it may have a faulty burner switch. There is a "kit" designed prevent moisture and I highly recommend calling a service technician to diagnose if it's a faulty switch or if moisture is migrating into the control area causing the intermittent operation. If it's caused by moisture there is moisture kit available in which the technician would need to install which would be at no cost to you. The kit would be provided and installed at no cost to you.

You can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website: Sears Home Services .
