How to replace valve JGP328BEC1BB Ge Cooktop

Unplug the cooktop and shut off the gas supply before diassembling the cooktop. Here is an image that shows how to open the cooktop to access the valves: Cooktop Disassembly. Once you get to that valve, you should be able to remove it and replace it. Be sure that you properly leak check the gas line connection after replacing the valve (coat the gas line connections for the valve with a concentrated solution of liquid dishwashing soap and water and then briefly turn on the gas supply-- if the connection creates bubbles then the fitting needs to be tightened or sealed properly).

If you're not certain that you can safely and properly complete this repair, I recommend that you have a service technician replace the valve.
