Do you know what this part is that burnt off at the end of the wire that connects to the bake element?


I think you are referring to the female spade connector that is crimped on the wires that pushes on and connects to the male terminal of the heating element.

I will not be able to tell you what size spade is needed but you can find an assortment of spade sizes and types in a kit which will include the spade crimping tool at Sears or any major Home improvement centers. You will need the crimping tool too so I recommend purchasing a kit with the tool included.

You will need to cut the old wire spade off and trim about 3/8" of the wire insulation off the end of the two wires and insert the two wires into the spade and then crimp the spade on the wires and then push the spade on the heating element. NOTE: Disconnect the power supply from the range before servicing.
