proform c55 #pfex35430

Thank you for your question as to which wire is for the control signal.

It sounds more like a bad connection in the wire harness from the control board from the console.

I am sorry but I cannot seem to find the wiring schematic for this Recumbent Bike on the Icon site.

On most products it is the blue to black wire coming from the console are the signal wires but I cannot confirm it at this time.

Let me know if it acts up again.

profom c55 model# pfex35430 resist motor doesn't fire

Thank you for your question.

I am sorry you are having a problem with the bike. I should be able to assist you with the diagnosing. First you will need a voltmeter and have access to the electrical connections to the console and the tension motor. Once you have access turn the meter to check dc volts. Then check the input voltage to the console. The image below shows the wire colors and is labeled. Click on the image to enlarge it. If you have a 5-volt reading to the console, place the meter leads on the yellow and blue wires going to the tension motor. When you adjust the tension, you should have a 5-volt reading. If you do not have the reading, the problem is either a bad wire connection or defective console. If you do have the 5-volt reading, the motor is defective.
I hope this is helpful. Please let me know if you need further assistance.

Thank you for using Manage my life.
